For this chapter, there are four main types of writing, Expository, Description, Persuasive, and Narrative.
1st, Expository
- Writing in which author's purpose is to inform the subject to the reader.
- Gives facts, explains ideas, directions, or terms.
- A type of expository writing that uses the five sense to paint a picture for the reader. this writing incorporates imagery and specific details.
- Describes a person, place, thing, or idea.
- Tries to convince the reader to support an opinion.
- focuses the main idea, argues one side and gives reasons.
- Writing in which the author tells a story.
- Share a personal experience.
